DAY1 ANKARA/CAPPADOCIA

Morning visit to the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, the Citadel, the Mausoleum of M. Kemal Ataturk, and proceed to Cappadocia. Visit the Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan on the ancient Silk Road. Continue to Cappadocia for dinner and overnight. (Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 2 CAPPADOCIA

Tour of Cappadocia; including the visits of Goreme open-air museum, the natural citadel of Uchisar, the underground city which was built by the early Christians to evade invading armies, the pottery town of Avanos. After lunch an observation of carpet weaving at one of the workshops. Dinner and overnight. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 3 CAPPADOCIA /ANTALYA

Early departure for Antalya via Konya the city of whirling dervishes. Visit the ancient monastic complex of the sufi order with the monumental tomb of the 13th Century philosopher Mevlana Celaleddin. Continue driving on Taurus Mountain range lining Turkey's southern coast. Late check in to your hotel in Antalya. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 4 ANTALYA / PAMUKKALE

Departure to the Pamphilian city of Perge. Visit the outstanding Greco-Roman ruins. See the best preserved Roman Bath, Hellenistic Gate complex, Stadium and the Agora. Drive to Aspendos to see the best preserved Roman theatre of Turkey from antiquity. Proceed to Pamukkale, visit Terme antique city enroute. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 5 PAMUKKALE / KUSADASI

Morning tour to Pamukkale; visit the ancient Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the white travertine deposits. Then tour the Aphrodisias, the city of Aphrodite, the Theatre, the Odeon and the Agora. Drive to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 6 KUSADASI

Fullday tour of Ephesus, a buslting space at the turn of the Christian Era , visit the Basilica of St. John, the Celcus Library, the Arcadian Road, the Brothel, the Roman Baths, the Theatre, the Temple of Artemis and the House of Virgin Mary. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 7 KUSADASI/CANAKKALE

Depart to Pergamon; the ancient city where parchment was invented. Visit Acropolis, the steepest theatre of the ancient world, Temple of Trojan, Library, Asklepion, the ancient healing center and the Red Basilica which is one of the seven churches of the Apocalypse. Proceed to Canakkale, visit the Ancient Troy, see its legendary walls and the wooden horse. Dinner and overnight. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner)

DAY 8: CANAKKALE/ISTANBUL

City of Canakkale lends its name to the straits that connect the Aegean sea to the sea of Marmara. Cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara. Visit the Anzac Bay and the Memorials of Gallipoli, the place where the fiercest battles of history was fought during World War. Proceed to Istanbul, transfer to the airport or to the hotel.
